Finite element simulation of torque transmission performance of helicopter transmission system spring clutch

摘要: 弹簧离合器是直升机传动系统的关键构件,查明其极限扭矩传递能力和失效形式可为其设计提供必要依据。针对离合器极限扭矩传递能力和失效的实验研究成本高、周期长等问题,采用多体接触有限元分析方法,建立了弹簧离合器有限元力学模型,对不同界面摩擦、加载方式和转速条件下的离合器极限扭矩、失效形式进行了仿真分析。结果表明:适当增大界面摩擦能降低弹簧最大应力、改善应力分布,提高离合器极限传递扭矩。较低的界面摩擦导致弹簧离合器打滑和塑性变形失效,界面摩擦达到激发需求后离合器在超过极限扭矩条件下将发生打滑失效。

Abstract: The spring clutch is the key component of the helicopter transmission system,and it is found that its limit torque transmission capacity and failure form can provide the necessary basis for its design.Aiming at the problem of high cost and long cycle of experimental research on clutch torque transmission capacity and failure,The finite element analysis model of the spring clutch was established by using the finite element analysis method.The limit torque and failure form of the clutch under different interface friction,loading mode and speed were simulated.The results show that the increase of the interface friction can reduce the maximum stress of the spring,improve the stress distribution and improve the clutch transmission torque.The lower interface friction causes the spring clutch to fail,and when the interfacial friction reaches the excitation demand,the clutch will fail due to slip over the limit torque.
